In a world where anti-Blackness is embedded in so many systems of oppression, choosing love—seeking it, nurturing it, and celebrating it—is an act of resistance. And resistance is power. Black love, in all its forms—romantic, platonic, familial, and communal—is life-giving and life-affirming. It is the energy that sustains us, the force that allows us to create, to heal, and to thrive despite the challenges we face.
We must recognize that the pivotal moment we're in—socially and politically—is fraught. The uncertainty, the violence, the constant assaults on our rights and dignity can make it tempting to shut down, disengage, or lose hope. But we have a choice. We can either harness this tenuousness and move things in a direction that creates a better future for us, or we can give in to the hatred, divisiveness, disconnection, scarcity, and sorrow. Choosing love in this moment is radical because it subverts all the bullshit and gets right to the root of what we are all yearning for: ease, joy, abundance, comfort, safety, well-being, and pleasure.
Love is more than a feeling; it is a practice. As bell hooks reminds us,
“Love is an action, never simply a feeling.” (All About Love: New Visions).
Love is how we show up for ourselves and each other, how we pour into our relationships, and how we allow ourselves to receive care, joy, and tenderness. It is expansive and transformative—but it must be cultivated with intention.
And that’s where the real challenge lies—because making radical shifts toward love, pleasure, and connection is not always easy. Change can be hard, scary, and uncertain. It means confronting old patterns, shedding outdated beliefs, and stepping into something new. That’s where having a committed and attuned accountability partner comes in.
My coaching is rooted in my deepest values: well-being, rest, love, joy, connection, safety, and, of course, pleasure. I know that the path to alignment isn’t always straightforward, but I also know that you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to support you, challenge you, and help you step into the fullest, most liberated version of yourself.

Rather than engaging with this moment in history with apathy or pessimism, we must recognize our power to recreate and re-envision the world we want—right now. Love—in all its forms—care, compassion, erotic intimacy, and connection—must be the seeds we are planting today if we want to cultivate the solutions that will carry us forward.
This month, I invite you to commit to your own love and expansion. Open your heart. Honor your most precious relationships. And if you're ready to deepen your connection with yourself and others in a transformative way, let’s begin your journey together. I am so ready to be your coaching partner in radical Black love!
