I'm Dr. Nikki

As the founder of Dr. Nikki knows, I am a licensed therapist in Houston, TX and a counseling psychologist with deep expertise in understanding the impact of race, gender, class, and sexuality on mental health. I am equally comfortable working with individuals, couples, groups, and large organizations. My approach is always to partner with my client in a way that leverages your strengths to promote your optimal wellbeing. 




I am a seasoned professional speaker specializing in topics ranging from Black women's mental health, Black mental wellness in the workplace, to pleasure and sex. I am an expert who offers genuine, engaging information and enlightening insights to any audience.



I am an experienced sexologist who blends my expertise in therapy and coaching with my  knowledge of healthy sexuality. Welcome to my website! I am Dr. Nikki Coleman.  While you’re here, you will find information about me and my expertise as a therapist primarily serving Black and Brown individuals and couples. In addition, I am a sexologist, workshop facilitator, and public speaker. I am a Black woman, Black feminist, sex-positive advocate, mother, champion for equity, and scholar. Because of my many intersecting identities, I am uniquely positioned to help others navigate challenges in their lives or organization. One of my fundamental beliefs is that relationships can be great sources of learning about ourselves.
